REPUBLICA DOMINICANA Y FRANCIA.
La Cámara Dominico-Francesa realizará la semana de Francia. El evento de negocios, cultura, deportes y música, será del 22 al 27 de marzo en Altos de Chavón.
La Cámara de Comercio Dominico-Francesa, la embajada de Francia y Casa de Campo, celebrarán la primera ¨semana de Francia¨en el país, del 22 al 27 de marzo en Altos de Chavón. El evento de negocios, cultural, musical, deportivo y gastronómico, convertirá a Altos de Chavón en un típico pueblecito francés con sus calles llenas de artistas, degustaciones de vinos, quesos y exhibición de productos, a través del stand de unas 40 empresas.
Será desarrollado el primer ¨Foro empresarial Franco-Dominicano¨donde´más de 200 líderes empresariales y representantes de los sectores oficiales de ambos países, tendrán la oportunidad de hacer negocios. Participarán delegaciones de Haití y de los territorios franceses en el Caribe: Guadalupe, Martinica y Guyana Francesa.
Este será un gran evento, el más importante de las relaciones económicas y comerciales entre Francia y la República Dominicana. Jean Pierre Gastaud destacó que dicho evento llega en momentos en que el intercambio comercial entre la República Dominicana y Francia está en sus niveles más altos.
El Sr. Pierre Gastaud precisó que Francia importa al país 96 millones de euros, mayormente en equipamientos industriales y bienes de consumo, mientras que esta nación le exporta 81 millones de euros, en un 80% de productos agrícolas. Pero esa cifra, según Henri Hebrard, posiblemente es mucho mayor, porque las estadísticas oficiales registran un menor intercambio del real.
La inversión de Francia en la República Dominicana supera los US$1,700 millones y el apoyo a la segunda línea del Metro asciende a US$230 millones de parte de la Agencia de Cooperación y US$160 millones en crédito del Gobierno francés.

¨ It will be developed the first Franco-Dominican Business Forum where over 200 business leaders and representatives of the officials from both countries will have the opportunity to do business. Participating delegations of Haiti and the French territories in the Caribbean: Guadeloupe, Martinique and French Guyana.
This will be a great event, the most important economic and trade relations between France and the Dominican Republic. Jean Pierre Gastaud stressed that this event comes at a time when trade between the Dominican Republic and France is at its highest levels.
