COFFEE EXPORTS TO REGION FELL BY 4.37%.
The combined exports of the group of nine coffee-producing countries of Latin America had a fall of 4.37% in the eight months of the current coffee harvest over the same period the previous one, reported yesterday a Guatemalan business source.
The National Coffee Association (Anacafe) of Guatemala said in a statement that their exports of Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Colombia and Peru totaled 17,976.288 bags of 60 kilos, from October 2011 and May.
